Coming off a disappointing showing in New Hampshire and Iowa and on top of it all the racist smears, getting fourth in Michigan is a huge victory for the revolution. Let's put this in perspective, no one thought he would make it past Iowa(except me and thousands of other paulheads) and here we are in Michigan with a fourth place finish beating out Giulliani and Thompson. I say this is a major victory. Not only did Paul finish fourth, he beat out Giulliani and Thompson. What i find interesting is that this isn't front page news. Paul beating out two of the supposed front runners when people were writing him off after NH is a definite win for us all. Also, and coincidentally, while driving my deliveries today(i'm a courier) i counted 4 Ron Paul full sized billboards on 3 different highways here in St. Louis. I also saw 3 Ron Paul bumper stickers and a giant sign in the back of a guys car window. Is this a coincidence that on the same day i see all these billboards Ron Paul gets his best finish in a primary? Probably i won't try and speculate. But it's interesting none the less. Way to go to everyone in Michigan that played a part. and way to go to the revolution. ROn Paul 2008.

A Debate For The Ages
Wow, what a comeback from the past weeks disappointments. I have to say he looked very presedential tonight. On the heels of under performing in Iowa and the "lock" New Hampshire, Ron Paul and Fox News both, exceeded expectations tonight. Ron was on fire and clips of this debate will be watched and studied for years to come, this is frankly, history in the making.
It seems as though the results of Iowa and New Hampshire have allowed Ron to relax for whatever reason, he was calm, collected and spot on with his performance. This debate comes as a great relief, after seeing this interview, where Ron looks visibly shook and ancy.
Caution before you read this next sentence, I never thought I'd say this but, Props to Fox. No really, Ron was given generous time to explain his thoughts and it came across great. Just imagine how many people questioned their entire political belief's tonight after hearing him speak truth, Fox viewers no less and the Fox crowd was cheering him, priceless. He was clearer and more concise tonight than ever before. The answer to the smarmy elect ability question was great. Enjoy

Ron Paul Racist Statements on CNN 1/10/08
Ron Paul is featured below and given a chance to respond to the racist rants in his newsletter years ago. CNN first plays a clip of pretty awful bigotry directly from the ron paul newsletter. In the second video Ron Paul gets a chance to respond to Wolf Blitzer. It is clear to me that Ron Paul did not write those comments, I have never heard anything close to that come from his mouth not to mention that libertarian are far from racists as they see people not in groups but as individuals. So that is clear, ron paul did not make those racist statements. what is not clear is what happened. The way i understand it is that Ron was making publishing the paper and making money from it but had no idea that this was in the paper. I find this odd, Ron paul does not seem like the type of person that would put his name on something but have no idea as to the content. Am i alone on this? Also, when he was asked directly by Wolf Blitzer why he didn't know what was in his own paper he never really answered the question. He appeared visually disrupted by the question and couldn't explain why he wasn't more involved which i also find strange. I really don't know what to make of all this.

Ron Paul Supporters, the Greatest Grassroots Ever?
This is a video from New Hampshire, a great rally you can feel the intensity. The passion is clear, its great to see this. I am continually amazed and thought to my self , hey i am far from alone in my beliefs. the girl around the 3:30 mark is the best asked why she supports Ron Paul, she replies without hesitation: "because he's not a member of the council on foreign relations". Brilliant. By the way if your reading this let's get married. just kidding. not really.
anyway a great video thank goodness for youtube.

New Hampshire Punks Fox
This was released today from the New Hampshire Republican Party.
Serves Fox right, if you ask me. Finally someone is standing up for Paul and it happens to be New Hampshire, how fitting. This recent action will only serve to hurt Fox and their rating but it should help the Paul campaign. As we have learned from the past, whenever Dr. Paul is excluded from something it only galvanizes his supporters and creates more free media publicity like this and this . Also and more satisfying, this type of action will make Fox look dumber than they already are. If this doesn't make the slogan "fair and balanced" a running joke among Americans nothing will. Anyway, i think this is just great and all credit to the New Hampshire Republican Party. We need more groups like you.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
January 5, 2008
Fergus Cullen, Chairman, New Hampshire Republican Party
NH REPUBLICAN PARTY WITHDRAWS AS FOX FORUM PARTNER
CONCORD – New Hampshire Republican Party Chairman Fergus Cullen releases the following statement regarding Sunday’s Republican forum on FOX:
“The first-in-the-nation New Hampshire primary serves a national purpose by giving all candidates an equal opportunity on a level playing field. Only in New Hampshire do lesser known, lesser funded underdogs have a fighting chance to establish themselves as national figures. Consistent with that tradition, we believe all recognized major candidates should have an equal opportunity to participate in pre-primary debates and forums.
This principle applies to tonight’s debates on ABC as well as Sunday’s planned forum on FOX. The New Hampshire Republican Party believes Congressmen Ron Paul and Duncan Hunter should be included in the FOX forum on Sunday evening. Our mutual efforts to resolve this difference have failed.
While we understand that FOX News continues to move forward it is with regret, the New Hampshire Republican Party hereby withdraws as a partner in this forum.”

The Top Five Ron Paul Moments of 2008
Starting out with number 5, here is the Larry King interview. It probably would have been number one had it been aired. It wasn't so that's why it's 5th.
5.
Here is number 4, it's the msnbc interview 1/2/08. I would have put this one last had it not been for the Larry King debacle. This lady should not be given a microphone and national air time.
4.
Number 3 is quite a pleasant change from Wolf the Blitzer.
And as always my main man Jack Cafferty is awesome as usual.
3.
Number 2 is Reason.com's editor battling it out with Billy the tool Oreilly. I thought he did a good job, plus i like anybody that goes up against that babbling idiot.
2.
Drum Roll Please...........The number 1 Ron Paul TV Moment of 2008(so far) is .......
This clip of Carol and Ron with George Snuffulupagous

1. Ron Paul TV MOMENT OF 2008 is this........

Ron Paul on Larry King
Here's the unaired Larry King Interview. Still no idea why they didn't air this interview, it's a really good one a would probably be very well received by a mainstream audience.
Also, here's a link to another great article in Huffington Post, about mccain being nervous that Ron Paul will finish third in Iowa

Ron Paul on CNN's American Morning - 1/3/08
Again, i have noticed a total change in tone with these recent interviews. Can you imagine if they had been talking like this the whole time? anyway this is another great interview on the day of the Iowa Primaries. Also you gotta love the guy in the background with the coffee and props to the interviewer for asking the difference between isolationism and non-interventionism. Great interview ! Let's go Iowa!!!!!!!

Ron Paul Discussion on the Situation Room
This discussion below is great stuff, after the larry king debacle this made my day. A couple of things to notice, watch at 1:30 good ol wolf blitzer ( possibly the worst name in history) explain to the panel how paul supporters don't have land lines and aren't included in the polls. Strange to hear from wolf.
Also, watch this interview and then think back to when we all started this journey. If you only pay attention to the tone of the conversation, we have all accomplished so much. They are finally talking about him like a legitimate candidate saying that he's going to beat Giulliani and Thompson, remarkable. kudos to everyone who has done anything for the campaign because this discussion is devoted to you. We have come so far we can't look back we must fight on.
As always, jack cafferty is great. Enjoy
Also, check out this great article at huff post written by Mark Jeffrey.

Ron Paul verified on Larry King Tonight!
This exciting news is just in from the campaign headquarters, it appears that Ron Paul is scheduled to appear on Larry King tonight 1/2/08.
This is great news from the campaign HQ, because it means a ton more exposure right before the Iowa and New Hampshire primaries. What a huge boost this will give the campaign, can you imagine what publicity like this would have cost this close to the primaries! it would have to be in the millions for sure.
Now we can only hope that Larry does a stand up job, there is no reason to expect anything more than the usual treatment that Ron Paul receives in interviews, but hey we can always dream can't we. Let's just pray he's a little easier than Tim Russert was.
I abandoned cable TV about six months so i will be looking for a video of the interview as soon as i find a link and posting it later at Paulitics. Well, i will try to keep positive thoughts about this one, let's see how it plays out.

Taking shots at Ron Paul
Here is Bill Kristol calling Ron Paul a crackpot. Bill Kristol is an american neoconservative pundit/analyst who was recently rewarded for being wrong with a NY Times gig, takes his shot at Ron Paul. I guess we are in the attack mode stage. It never ceases to amaze me that these pundits and even government officials(Bush, Cheney, Alberto Gonzales) are always duly rewarded for being wrong and under qualified as long as the tow the line. Only in politics you get a promotion for being shitty. anyway, here's the video

Who would Jesus bomb?
Protesters ask Mike Huckabee, who would Jesus Bomb?
What a question. Personally i am glad there are people willing to ask it even if it means getting arrested. On Monday, 8 members of Iowa Occupation Project and Voices for creative non-violence infiltrated baptist Huckabee's headquarters, whic also happens to be in the same building as our man Ron Paul. The mission was to challenge the former minister and christian conservatives as in general for supporting this awful occupation and for support of bombing Iran, a country with no army or navy and no way to defend itself. This would never have happened if the media had the balls to ask such questions. But no, instead we get questions dealing with his family or his dog, but never serious questions on foreign policy. So this type of thing happens, and will continue to happen as long as the media silently cheer leads for more bombing, more occupation and more death.
The link i provided at the top reports that there were 35 reporters in the office at the time and i got to wondering if it will be picked up by the major sources of media in this country or will they be too afraid because then they would have to question the Christian support for this occupation. Then i thought, who cares. I mean, the old media is just that, OLD. We need to let them go by the wayside and stop paying attention to whether they are paying attention to the issue we want, we should stop caring because we will always lose, they are never looking out for our true interests.
Now i am by no means saying stop caring about what is going on in the world, i am merely saying that we should report on it ourselves and stop giving support to media that is corporate owned and/or government controlled. That's the main reason i started this blog, i was sick of not hearing the questions i wanted to hear being asked, most of the issues that concern me are totally blacked out or distorted out of context. But now we have the internet everything is changing. Old media has lost their strangle hold on information and its a beautiful thing .

Mass Media Exposed
This is a video every american should watch. Enjoy
I sincerely believe that the media is the biggest threat to our country because they decide what we think and what is and isn't news. That is a very dangerous power especially when it has been co opted by the CFR and their ilk. Thank goodness for the internet because you would never see this video on any of the major networks.
